Upload file to Linux folder without touch and chmod

When I try to upload a file to a Linux folder without having first created the file and changed its permissions, Core Shell is silent. It has failed to upload the file, but does not tell the user this.
Please add some sort of warning to help the poor user in the middle of a complicated series of steps that this didn't work!

Hi Jonathan, is the parent directory set to readonly, so that creating a child file is not permitted?

Well yes - for good security reasons. But my comment wasn't complaining abut it not uploading to a read-only directory, but rather that it doesn't give any sort of error when the user tries to use the upload function and it cannot complete...

Jonathan, Core Shell 2.5.1 is public released and now it will reveal the error message when down/uploading failed, please do the upgrade and let me know if you catch an issue.
