Abnormal disconnects happening on all remote hosts at random times, cannot reconnect in session, CAN ssh from new window or elsewhere

So I am on a macbook pro, have a shell window up, create an additional tab to same remote ssh host with CMD-D.

After some time I get an abnormal disconnect and it won't reconnect. I can ssh in from other sources, I can create a new ssh window and it will connect. If I do a CMD-D the new tab won't be able to connect.

I have verified there is no issue with remote host and other products can ssh in.

Started about 4-5 days ago. Was there a recent upgrade?

I also get this when trying to initiate a connection and am told:

DEvice not configured
[Could not create a ne wprocess and open a pseudo-tty.]

and that is on a LOCAL tty, no ssh

I'm not on windows, surely I dont' need to reboot, do I?

Please close ticket... appears to be a software bug... See here: Abnormal Disconnect (suddenly) - #5 by jonathangroves

I set up a cronjob to run those two commands every 180 days and problem solved.

I'd suggest you upgrade to latest Codinn Store version, Core Helper was abandoned and is not supported.
