Update 4.0 does not remember window size

Every time I close and reopen the app, it resets to the default window size of 99x32. I normally use a size of around 180x40. This worked correctly in previous versions. Please restore the previous behavior. Thanks

I can't reproduce the issue, where did you download and install from — the App Store, Setapp or the Codinn website?

I’m waiting to collect more reports from other users. In the meantime, would it be possible for you to download and use the Codinn Store version instead?

Hello, I was able to isolate the problem. The issue is caused by the Core Shell opens with setting.

When the setting is set to A new window, the window size is not remembered after closing and reopening the app.
When the setting is set to All windows from last session, the window size is correctly preserved after reopening. However, this also restores all previous sessions, which I do not want.

So it seems there is an issue specifically with the A new window option.

I tested this on both the Setapp version and the version downloaded directly from Codinn, and both are affected.

Thanks for pointing out the real cause! This issue is fixed in version 4.0.2, which was just released.

the issue is partially fixed. When I use Cmd+Q, the window size is correctly remembered. However, if I close the window using the red button in the top-left corner, the size resets.
