From latest version 3.10.9 on my Mac the cursor leaves marks on the screen. This is very annoying especially in editor like vi. After moving the cursor on the page, I don't know where is the cursor as it leaves marks everywhere it is passed.
If I change the cursor shape from Block to Vertical Bar, the color of the caracter is removed when cursor is moved.
I tried changing the Color Scheme : same behavior.
I tried xterm-16 color : same behavior.
I am encourntering the same issue, it's quite annoying and I just paid for Premium and not sure where to get support. Could you check and fix the cursor issue please?
God I'm glad it's not me.
I've tried everything to get rid of the little red bloody box which makes it impossible to see where you are as it leaves a trail of them everywhere.
It seems to be related to up/down cursor movements, if that helps. I'd be very glad of a fix as it's making editing things very tricky. @yang Please have a look when you have a moment as it could become a deal-breaker. Many thanks!
I can confirm the issue. Only on remote connections using ssh.
Connected to RHEL 9 and using vim to edit files then on up/down cursor movements the cursor leaves a ghost image. When scrolling and the screen then redraws (or CTRL+L), the ghost cursors disappear. If you move the cursor to the left or right of the left behind ghost cursor then the ghost disappears.
I have tried a bunch of terminal settings. Nothing changes the behavior.
Very true, I got a kind of used to it already, but it is very annoying whe you have to concentrate on the curser while going through a document e.g. in vim.
Thanks in advance for fixing it, Yang!
