Search box disabled in 5.1 on macOS 27

I just updated to Core Shell 5.1 on macOS 27, and when I open the main window, the search bar is greyed out like its disabled, when I try to type I get the Mac error bong sound.

The single feature I rely on most often is being able to just open that window and start searching, the fact that until now the search box automatically got focus was a real killer feature for me, and not only is that broken, but I can't search at all, and I have about 100 connections!

Could you please roll back to version 5.0 for now?

I’m currently testing Core Shell on macOS 27 to see if I can reproduce and identify the issue.

Update: this issue wasn’t introduced in version 5.1, so rolling back to 5.0 won’t fix it.

I’ll work on the macOS 27 compatibility issue and get it fixed as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience!

For anyone else experiencing this, I found a workaround, hitting cmd+f brings the box back to life :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Bart,

The search box issue on macOS 27 has been fixed in Core Shell 5.1.1. Please update to the latest version to get the fix.

Thanks for reporting this!
