I'm sorry about the crash, could you please send me a copy of full crash log? It could help me identify the problem.

Thank you,

Yang

Thanks for your reply, full crash log is attached.

Thank you very much for the full crash log, I'll make another beta release to fix this issue.

BTW, are you able to reproduce this issue? If you can, could you please tell the reproduce steps?

Thank you,

Yang

Sorry i cannot reproduce it.

It always happens after pressed some letter key like vim undo (u), but not the same key.
Never crash when it is idle (no input action).

Hi, where can i download a beat release to test it, this crash issue make me feel bad every time.

I'm sorry about this issue, still failed to reproduce it. Could you please update to latest version 3.5 and give it a try? We made lot of refactoring and improvements on the terminal implementation. With version 3.5, if terminal crashes, the crash log is much more traceable for us to find the real cause.

Kindly Regards,

Yang

Got it, SetApp didn't auto upgrade to 3.5, i have reinstall it by myself, i will feedback again few days later.

Crashed just now when pasting.

I see similar/same crashes on different machines, since using CoreShell 3.5.
I still cannot reproduce it either, but it mostly happens when calling up vim with a filename as parameter. I think it only happens when the machine was sleeping beforehand, but not too sure yet.

no more crashed yet since 3.5.1

@zhwei1 @alexbartl Thank you very much for the crash logs, and I've identified the real cause, an update release is on its way.

Thanks a lot!

At the moment CoreShell looks like to be extremely laggy after wakeup, when the buffers are filled, but I will report back after the update.

4 posts were split to a new topic: Crash when pressing shortcut key

I did not see any crashes and no lagging since 3.5.2 so far. Not even after wakeup.
